First edition in 2022 being successful, CINEMANIA PRO comes back from November 7th to 11th 2023 with an even more exciting and inspiring program of activities.
Once again this year, we aim to strengthen international relations that unite francophone countries, to explore their connections, strengths and areas for improvement. CINEMANIA's pro section also aims to be a reference point to create new alliances and collaborations between industry players who rarely meet, as well as a place for reflection on contemporary issues of inclusivity and technological innovation.
International professionals will be invited: producers, festival directors, programmers, salespeople... At the heart of these activities, there will be conferences focusing on francophone productions, visibility of Francophonies in Western Canada, particularly in Saskatchewan, Yukon and British Columbia, the current challenges of artificial intelligence in international production and creation, how comedy is covered in festivals and the question of humor's universality, the influence of talents in international festivals, and more. Current common issues will lead to concrete answers and tangible solutions.
Immersed in the heart of Quebec cinema, meetings, networking and pitches will give these professionals the opportunity to discover and develop bold, innovative projects in the future.
Activities are free and open to everyone, registration is mandatory. Spots are limited, a registration form will soon be available online.
