The Inis welcomes Quebec director Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette (Inch'Allah, Le Ring, Chien Blanc) and French filmmaker Arnaud Desplechin for a discussion on their vision of cinema and their favorite themes. Moderated by Jean Hamel, Executive Director of the “Institut national de l'image et du son”, this meeting will provide a better understanding of their respective creative processes. A transatlantic exchange that promises to highlight the talent of two filmmakers whose work is internationally acclaimed. This talk is made possible thanks to the “Association des réalisateurs et réalisatrices du Québec”.
