The screening of DIVERTIMENTO will be followed by a concert with musicians from the “Orchestre Métropolitain”, conducted for this exceptional occasion by Zahia Ziouani, whose life inspired the film. She is one of the few women conductors in France, and at the age of 23 she founded the Divertimento Symphony Orchestra. Since then, Zahia has performed regularly with renowned soloists. She conducted the National Orchestra of Algeria from 2006 to 2013.
