LITTLE MAN TOM

Tom, 11, lives with Joss, his mother (Nadia Tereszkiewicz, most recently Monia Chokri’s irresistible babysitter) in a mobile home on the edge of a forest. Together, they form an indestructible bond. The arrival of the troubling Samy upsets their fragile stability. Shot in a bubble by the sea between two periods of confinement, the film speaks of love and freedom, ensconced in a soothing nature, beyond the constraints of a harsh life. Described by Première as a “filmmaker of hypersensitive sensuality and heightened sentiment”, Fabienne Berthaud shoots her story through the eyes of a child, somewhere between fairy tale and social chronicle, at times funny and troubling, always moving.
