Jury's Special Award at the last Alpe d'Huez Comedy Film Festival, On sourit pour la photo depicts the setbacks of a struggling couple. The father, Thierry, spends his days filing his family albums. His children are now grown and independent, and he is convinced that the best is now behind him. Frustrated, his wife Claire tells him that she is leaving him. Wishing to reverse this brutal decision, Thierry suggests returning to Greece to relive, more than a decade later, their best family vacation of summer 98. A dramatic comedy about finding lost time that is worthwhile for its benevolence and its universality.
