What format will the CINEMANIA Film Festival take this year?

The 28th edition of the Cinemania Film Festival will be presented only in theater, from November 2nd to 13th, 2022.

Will the films shown in theatres also be available online?

This year, the complete programming of the festival will be presented only in theaters.

How to find out about CINEMANIA's programming?

The complete programming of the Festival will be announced on October 20th, 2022. The catalog will be back this year.

Will there be a printed catalog?

This year, it is the great return of the catalog of two years of absence. Including the schedule and all the events calendar of the 28th edition, the catalog will be available just after the announcement of the programming.

Will there be any master classes or lectures this year?

We are always keen to offer additional master classes or events to our loyal fan base, free of charge. The full schedule of all our related events is available here.

How do I vote for the Mel Hoppenheim Audience Award this year?

You can cast your vote via the online form once the festival has started. More information to come.

Will CINEMANIA films be presented with subtitles?

As it is the tradition at CINEMANIA, all of our films, with some exceptions, are presented with English subtitles for greater accessibility across the country.

Can I create "My Schedule" for movies like before?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a "My Schedule" for the 2022 edition.

Will there be an in person box office?

The on-site box office will open on November 1 at the Imperial Cinema.
Tickets will be sold online from the 20th october. To purchase your tickets, go directly to our online ticketing service. Will the films presented in theaters have multiple screenings?

Some films will be shown several times and in different theatres. Please refer to the programming for more information.

What is the ticketing policy?

There are no refunds or exchanges.

What payment methods are allowed?

For the indoor sessions, debit cards (TD and RBC) and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and AMEX) are allowed through our online ticketing system (More informations to be anounced).

I want to make a donation to help CINEMANIA: how can I do it?

Your donations are always greatly appreciated. CINEMANIA is facing important challenges in order to continue to fulfill its mandate as a non-profit cultural organization. Therefore, when you purchase a ticket for our Festival on our online ticketing service, you can make a donation. All donations are welcome and we thank you for your support.

HOW THE PASSPORTS WORK

I have an UNLIMITED PASSPORT or a UNLIMITED PASSPORT PROFESSIONAL , can I go to all the screenings

No. The UNLIMITED PASSPORT or the UNLIMITED PASSPORT PROFESSIONAL is nominative and only allows you to book a single ticket by screening for all the films of your choice from the programming in theatres. (Except the Opening and the Closing)

The UNLIMITED PASSPORT or the UNLIMITED PASSPORT PROFESSIONAL does not guarantee access to the screenings. Late arrivals may result in denial of access to a screening. No exceptions will be made on site by CINEMANIA staff.

Who is the UNLIMITED PASSPORT PROFESSIONAL intended for?

The UNLIMITED PASSPORT PROFESSIONAL is reserved exclusively for film industry professionals. A validation step is required by the CINEMANIA team before a PROFESSIONAL PASS can be purchased. This step can take up to 24 hours.

Once your information has been verified by the CINEMANIA team, you will receive a link that will allow you to complete your transaction and receive your PROFESSIONAL PASS.

I am a member of the press, how can I get an accreditation?

You can apply for a media accreditation for the CINEMANIA programming. Each request will be treated individually and an online viewing code will be issued if the request is accepted.
